Web Accessibility - Breaking Down Barriers to Web Content
Accessible web sites benefit everyone, not just persons with disabilities. This course, structured around the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Guidelines for content creation, teaching coding and design practices that maximize accessibility for all web audiences. Learn about common barriers that inaccessible web design poses to persons with disabilities and the simple techniques you can use to break down those barriers. This interactive workshop provides training, examples, and hands-on practice in designing content that meets the latest accessibility standards and places participant-designed content at a competitive advantage.
Prerequisites:
XHTML & CSS Web Authoring, or equivalent knowledge.
Fees: $87.40 for faculty and staff. $66.80 for students. $108.00 for all others.
