Creating Accessible PDF Documents
Will your PDF documents pass accessibility checks? This workshop will cover the steps that you need to follow to ensure that your PDFs will meet accessibility guidelines. Topics covered include:
- What makes a PDF document accessible (and usable)?
- Checking a PDF document for accessibility.
- Generating a "tagged" PDF.
- Retrofitting inaccessible PDF documents.
- Making PDF forms accessible.
A working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or greater is highly recommended.
Prerequisites:
Creating Accessible and Flexible Documents, or equivalent knowledge.
Fees: $46.20 for faculty and staff. $35.90 for students. $56.50 for all others.
